I haven't but I have used Design Masters' Glossy Wood Tone spray a zillion times to great effect.

Hello....that’s a very interesting idea. I generally like acrylic washes and why Specking spatter affect for aging.
Additionally I do use a metallic powder purchased an art store to brighten up my acrylic paints.
