I'm not sure what you mean by 'freshen', but it can be cleaned with a vinegar solution.
Are you asking how to clean tile that is dirty or smells?

Generally speaking, ceramic tile is pretty durable and its surface very resilient so it just needs a cleaning. For dirty grout, sprinkle baking soda on then spray hydrogen peroxide, give it a light scrubbing and wash away.
