How to repair porch?
Our front porch has a layer of gravel over the concrete and a brick edge. The gravel is coming off in many spots and I can't sweep porch without losing a lot of pieces. What can we use to fill the gap between concrete and top of brick edge if we remove the graveled layer? It's a house we are renting and don't want to spend tons of money but it's dangerous to walk on as is and landlord not going to fix. Thanks.

Depending on the size of the gap. You can use concrete adhesive caulk, mortar mix, hydraulic cement. A photo would help. Also make sure you get permission IN WRITING from the landlord before doing anything.
Hi, because you're renting I'm wondering if just covering it up with something else that inexpensive might be your best bet? I know outdoor carpet can be really cheap especially if you can find remnants. I would check Lowes, Home Depot etc. and see if you can't get a piece cut to size. Then you can just take it with you when you go.
I'm thinking some sort of mortar to level it with the brick.
You could use an outdoor adhesive to put the gravel back in its place.
Because you're renting, you should talk to your landlord and see what they'll allow. Maybe they'll even fix it for you or they might not allow you to do anything.

If it is dangerous, talk to your landlord he needs to fix it.
Hello. Could you post a photo of your situation. More information could be helpful. Is it something that a piece of indoor outdoor carpeting or a doormat might help solve?
if it is a safety issue for the renters or visitors then the landlord should want to fix the issues I would talk to him first
Hi Jermdr,
Top up with more gravel or push the gravel aside and insert paving slabs as stepping stones, or use Bark Chippings. Stay safe!
