It depends on the thickness of the old tile - adding more flooring on top will cause that floor to be higher than you other floors as well- you can paint the old tile for a new look

Hi Alysha, you can place wood flooring over tiles and cement. Here's a link with some good info. Will you be removing the baseboards, installing the wood, then reinstalling the baseboards? Will the tiled area you have now be the same height as the concrete when you remove your carpet from the other area? Many things to consider before you do this. Hope this link helps you figure it out!

Just because you can doesn't mean that you should. To be sure your wood floors will last they need to be put down over a smooth surface. If you're putting them over any kind of real tile with grout that will not be very smooth, but you could use a self leveling floor compound over the tile first.

I would not do this, I would remove the tile first. Yes, you can pull up the carpet and put the wood flooring on cement, but you want a vapor barrier first. This article will explain it: https://www.hardwoodinfo.com/specifying-professionals/project-support/flooring-guides/installing-hardwood-floor-concrete-slab-2/#:~:text=Solid%20parquet%20hardwood%20flooring%20can,not%20be%20installed%20below%20grade.&text=Successful%20installation%20also%20requires%20conducting,moisture%20test%20before%20parquet%20installation.
You will want to remove the tile first. The biggest concern is moisture from the concrete which can warp the wood over time. You should put down a vapor retarder. I found this article that might help:
