I'm not sure what kind of pipes you have, but a fake rock may be a solution. Another idea is to plant some new bushes that you like.
Hi Pat, you can plant some ground covers and low growing flowers and turn your hill into a meadow
What type of pipes, how many, approx. size to cover, more info please.
There is a product called Mock Rock, or Faux Rock also, which is a large fake, hollow boulder. They come in various sizes, and you place them over the pipes sticking out of the ground. You could also build a wire enclosure or trellis around the pipes, and plant a pretty vine to grow over it. There are many clematis vines that grow to various sizes, some only a few feet tall like a shrub, and some that grow quite large, that flower all season. Or perhaps you could plant some shrubs more to your liking than those you took out, or some ornamental grasses in front of the pipes.
Be careful not to damage the pipes if you dig near them, you don't want to damage them. You should find out what they are for, septic, gas, well water, etc. and whether it's okay to plant near them. In addition, you can call 811 and get underground utilities on your property marked so you will know where it is safe to dig.
You can make use plants, since one of the most popular way in disguising an exposed exterior pipes is through using plants. Or even use a wooden box. And also use decorative objects. You can also simply paint the pipe.
Hello. I don’t see a photograph post it here to know the height or appearance of your pipes. Could more landscaping or planters hide them or possibly a ground cover? We have some existing stumps and we were successfully able to disguise them with landscaping to include mulch shrubs and planters.
Please share a photo! That will really help us with ideas for you. :)
Oh I am sorry I thought I did
It will depend on the look you are going for but you can bring in fill dirt, mulch, or pea gravel. Add pots with plants.
Try not to cover up the ends of those pipes too much as they must be serving as some kind of drain for something. Maybe just some new bushes that are prettier that you like would work. Day lilies are great, tall, and spread easily.
