I use an old cake pan with several plastic pot scrubbers cut in half crosswise. I place the cut faces down with room around each. I mix honey-REAL HONEY(not corn syrup;you must read the labels) with warm water at 3 parts water to 1 part honey. The bees will find the best spot to access the mix with their tongue by sipping thru the scrubbers. Wash pan daily and understand that it will attract lots of other bugs, hornets, wasps etc. Also honey water is bad for Hummingbirds. Not something they are able to properly digest.
