I have an etched double bowl kitchen sink that needs to be replaced in an existing granite hole. Short of spending $4000 on new granite how can I replace that sink?

Do I understand right - is it an under mount sink in the granite? Is it stainless steel? These can be replaced while keeping the countertop. :)

I recently coated two badly stained cultured marble sinks with a product called Ekopel, which is available on Amazon. The product is non toxic, has no odor and dries into a hard, bright white durable surface. I love how my sinks turned out! This is the product. You can buy several different amounts of the product: https://amzn.to/3wNOPOT
You can get my full tutorial and see how it worked out for me here: https://momhomeguide.com/easy-budget-sink-update/
Not clear on wording. Replace the sink since it is etched? You can refinish the sink with a kit you paint on and seal if that is the problem.
Find a fabricator who can cut the sink out of the granite. You may have to replace it with a top mounted sink, but way better than getting new granite. If you have an undermount sink it comes out.
Hi Kelley,
Do I understand the problem correctly that you are in need of a brand new sink, and you would like an undermounted stainless steel one, but you have not yet found a new one to fit the existing opening in your granite countertop?
Keep in mind that all stainless steel sinks are not created equally. Generally lower priced ones are thinner, lightweight, and do not have as durable a finish compared with higher end brand-name models.
I understand!
Is your sink undermount or is it formed as part of the granite counters? If it's undermount, you can replace it with almost whatever you'd like. If it's part of the counters, then yeah, you'd have to replace the counter too most likely.
