The type of tub would dictate the recommended cleanser. Because fiberglass can be easily scratched, baking soda seems to be the less offensive of all the mild detergents listed in the resource below.
“For stubborn areas, such as bathtub rings, you can make a paste out of baking soda and a little water. Wet down the tub’s surface and gently rub the paste onto it with a sponge, soft nylon brush, or cloth.”

Hello there,
I have always had Fibreglass Baths and would only use Washing up Liquid on them with warm water. Go around the line of scum with a cloth with the neat liquid on it. When done, rinse with cold water the buff dry with a towel.
I clean our fiberglass bathtub with 2 methods:
For the areas where scum has built up and does not respond to a vinegar, blue dawn and water mixture, I make a paste of baking soda and water, let it set 30 min or so on the tub's surface and then using a micro fiber cloth gently scrub the area, Rinse well.
The vinegar mixture lends itself to more of a shine after the baking soda cleaning is done.
