How can I simplify watering hanging plants?
I have several hanging plants that aren't handy to water. Is there a DIY idea for making a hanging plant watering tool?

Hi,
You can buy a Self watering system or individual self watering globes.
I would just lower them down to a practical height for watering and leave them there.
Cut a slit in the cap of a plastic bottle. Fill it with water and turn it upside down in the plant.
Hello, I find using the proprietary product soil moist to lessen the watering frequency needs of my indoor and outdoor plants. Something you might consider.

Add a wetting agent that holds moisture to make less frequent watering needed. Then add the self watering globes to disburse water slowly over time.
You can also get an extender to water, something like this:

Hi Jo
Here is some info for you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAM3cWgNchA
Lower the Plants to A Comfortable Place
Use A Hose (outside of course)
Use A Watering Can
Use Self-watering planters
You can upcycle plastic bottle for that. Just make a hole on the cap, then just fill the bottle with water. Use it to water the plant by gently squeezing it to release water.
Hi! I use a combination of a self watering globe and water bottles for watering plants. Good luck!

I keep a plastic step stool that folds in the pantry. It takes up little space and I use a watering can with a long spout.

I’ve seen those bottles you can invert and insert into the soil. For outdoors, pick up a long wand type sprayer that attaches to the hose. You’ll be able to reach easily that way.
Here's a video that might help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zR3vPpM-Zwk
Hi Jo, you can get the wand extensions for you garden hose, it helps with the reach up, you will see them using these in garden centers. Or you can remove them and place them into a container full of water and let them absorb the water, See attached video
