What kind of paint for aluminum?
I have a vintage aluminum kiddie ride. I have primed it with etching. I need to paint it now, and it will have about 6 different colors. I need to know what kind of paint I can buy ... NOT spray paint. I would like to find a paint that I can buy in small quantities. Any suggestions would be appreciated. This is, obviously, a vintage piece that will be outdoos.

Hello,
Prime with Aluminium Primer and use any Metal Paint on top!
Any acrylic or latex paint designed for metal - check in your local hardware or home improvement store.
HI there, I would use rustoleum on aluminum, its always done amazing for me!
I would double check RustOleum paint to see if it has aluminum application. I have had great success on metal and have used in spray and brush on versions.
Rustoleum and Krylon paint for aluminum , both come in containers for brushes.
Another vote for Rustoleum!
I would thin a good enamel paint could be purchased at a paint store. Enamel such as used on metal doors and either a brush or a sponge painter should work well.
I also vote for Rustoleum. You can buy half pints and quarts of enamel paint
Yes! Would highly suggest to go with rustoleum
You can buy small bottles of paint from a hobby shop, the model car section. You should double check to make sure they’re exterior rated.
Rustoleum is sold in small cans, but that may be too much for you. Go to a model car or boat shop, I think Hobby Lobby and Michaels also sells model paint. but the small bottles and they boat paints will be water proof. Of course you can spray lacquer on the finished object when complete for weatherproofing
