If you take a photo of the piece or pieces and then upload it to google and do a reverse image search, you can often find the pieces on eBay or Etsy or even 1stdibs if they are valuable. Then at least you know a name and maybe even have a value to start with. Hope that helps.
National Lumber Grades Rating Rule, is what that mark is about. That’s a Canadian-produced set of furniture.
It is a contemporary mark or stamp, meaning it is not antique (100 years old).
It is hardwood, but the species is hard to identify with this small example picture.
We need to see the rest of the set.
If it is high end furniture, it would be marked in the top drawer, inside on the side.
Mass produced furniture for selling to furniture store chains and department stores may have a catalog number on it, but no brand, as that’s encoded in the catalog number.
Used furniture is selling for low prices in the States now, unless it is something trendy, like Mid Century Modern.
Since this is a DIY Forum, I suggest you photograph the set and join some FB Groups on “Identify my antique” or other ID Groups.
Take multiple pictures and take to an antique dealer.
ask at the antique store
We have no idea what we are looking at other than the stamp on wood. Is a a chair, desk, dresser. Show a picture of the entire item.

Hi! More pictures would help! A little research online should give you a feel for its value. Antique furniture doesn't increase its value the way it used to. I think your piece is mass produced and probably not an antique. Age isn't the only factor for value. Condition, manufacturer and demand for a certain style all are factors. Good luck!

How to find out the value of antique furniture
If you're unable to bring the pieces somewhere which sounds likely, take a lot of pictures both inside and out, of any and all markings, then contact an appraiser. An antique store might be helpful but more often than not, an appraiser is going to be your better option.

I would want to know how old it is and if the design is "trending" right now. Then try to find like items on Ebay and use that as a price range. Or try selling it on a Facebook seller thread and set a price. See if anyone bites at that price. You can keep calling other antique dealers too until you get an answer.
