Vintage Fall Mantel

Using some vintage items and heirlooms, this fall mantel is focused on texture. Mixed with some items already on hand and a few white pumpkins, the result is an homage to times gone by.
I'm ready to curl up beneath this mantel with a good book and a cup of tea!
This architectural print is the foundation of the mantel's design.
Natural elements like pine cones, pumpkins...
...and Indian corn bring plenty of texture to this vignette.
Three ears of corn wrapped and tied with twine is a simple way to add color and texture to any fall decor. And the 'pumpkin' here? Come to Sondra Lyn at Home and find out what it really is!
Also visit the blog to see how to make this Twine Pear for pennies!
Now we're ready for Fall!
