Don't toss those old t-shirts! There are ALL kinds of crafts you can make, including easy decor items for winter! I turned an old tee into these easy snowflake ornaments.
Great for winter decor or hanging on the Christmas tree!
All you need are some strips of t-shirt fabric, scissors, and fabric stiffener.
Cut 6 strips, and tie them in the center. Make knots on a pair of strands one inch out, and then a second set of knots with neighboring strands. Trim off the ends, dip in fabric stiffener and dry - and you've got instant snow! (More detail on the knots are in the blog post.)
Each snowflake takes less than 5 minutes (aside from drying time) so you can make up a whole blizzard from one old t-shirt! Have fun!
