This is so easy, it almost doesn't need steps or instructions! First, hang on to some carboard toilet paper tubes (or paper towel tubes in half).
Next step- collect dryer lint from the screen in your dryer and then stuff it in one of the toilet paper tubes. We all know dryer lint is extremely flammable! Isn't this a great way to use it up?
Then, and this step isn't mandatory, wrap your filled tube with waxed paper like a piece of candy (twisted at the ends). I like to this because it keeps the lint inside the tubes, and the twisted ends make for a nice wick when these are placed underneath your firewood fuel in the fireplace!
It's just that easy! Click HERE for the full blog post and all the details!
Add these to the bottom of your firewood "teepee" inside your fireplace and use them to help ignite a good fire. Same for bonfires and firepits outside- get your fire lit fast and break out the S'mores goodies! It'll take no time at all.
