This dated 70s/80s style credenza received glamorous makeover!
For those who are here for the reveal, I always like to start with the "after" photo.
But here's where we started. Reminds me of heavy dated furniture from my grandparent's old house. Despite the dated look, the piece and manufacturer is desirable and quite valuable!
The entire piece was stripped of the old lacquer.
Clean and dry.
Primed.
Custom color mix - and painted with my sprayer.
Hardware polished up....with lots of elbow grease!
Nearly 27 hours of active work on the piece, we have the staged reveal!
Interiors drawers are painted in "vintage gold" (looks white in the photo :/).
And lined with Rifle Paper Co. wrapping sheets.
And decorated with beautiful flowers. Because everything is better with flowers.
So very glam. Check out all the details, and more photos, on my blog!
Enjoyed the project?

Noel Marie Buday on Sep 07, 2016Next time either boil hardware or use the cold oven cleaner or the non shiny side of aluminum foil and it will take all the grime off...no hard scrubbing... Looks Fabulouz...
