Guest Bathroom Makeover Reveal

I decided to take some risks when re-doing our 1989 guest bathroom. I wanted to try a darker color on the walls and an unexpected color on the cabinets, but I knew it would be a risk.
When we had finished, I was so glad I'd taken those risks. My husband always encourages me to follow my instincts, and I'm glad I did here -- I couldn't be happier with our final bathroom.
The original bathroom was blah and beige and bronze -- totally not my style. The cabinets had seen better days, the fixtures were falling off the wall, and everything felt so dated. We started by painting the walls a dark gray, and the cabinets a deep teal.
We made our own industrial shelving. I love the mix of rustic and glam -- I think it comes through in this space.
Because I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, I ended up stitching up my own shower curtain out of a flat sheet -- it really turned out gorgeous!
We replaced the single light fixture with two new ones over each mirror. The effect is much more upscale and it helps the room feel a little like a hotel.
Even with the darker paint, the whole thing feels much lighter and brighter and more modern than the old bathroom. Want to see all the changes we made? Stop by my blog!

May I ask, where did you find your mirrors?

Have a question about this project?
Could you tell me the names of the paint colors for the walls and the cabinet?
Thank you!
What is the actual color of the cabinets ? I absolutely LOVE them ❣️ I LOVE blues & this looks perfect for my 1 vanity 70’s green & gold tiles that are glued for LIFE. 🤨
Did anyone get an answer on the wall and vanity color?
