Farmhouse renovation complete!

I loved this house as soon as I saw it. Abutting a plant nursery, a converted barn- now a house- and tennis courts across the street.
The location was great but to quote my painter friend, "this house is sad."
Years of burning wood fires had left every surface dingy, dark and oily with soot. I wanted to make it warm, airy and cozy using creams, yellows, grays, whites with a few bright accents.
Freshly sanded floors, all new light fixtures, fresh paint, hardware, appliances... and some more important behind the scenes updates turned this house into a home.
Let me know what you think!

STUNNING! I know there was a lot of work involved in this, but it is amazing what the lighter coordinated colors do for this place! Great work, wishing you many happy years in your home!
