Desktop Made From Laminate Flooring {Tutorial}

My challenge was to create something using flooring, but not for floors! I also wanted something that was less expensive than purchasing a countertop and still durable for a teenage boy.
You could even use left-over flooring from a project you've had in your home as it only takes about 6 pieces of laminate flooring!
Our son was in need of a new desk and he wanted it long enough to use for building Legos and puzzles, so we made him this awesome desktop using plywood and laminate flooring! It's functional, durable, and well built! Click on the link below to see the full tutorial!

Here is the desktop finished. It's 6 feet long and 2 feet wide.

The desktop was simple and easy to make - only took an afternoon and is very inexpensive!
