Homework Room Cubby

We transformed our formal dining room into a homework room for the kiddos. I wanted to share our cubby station with all of you as part of The Fab Furniture Flippin' Contest. Here is how the cubby unit was created.
The shell of the cubby unit was a Craigslist find.
I knew we needed a place for storage and these little cubby units were the perfect way to hide clutter and have high style design.
Boxes for each opening were constructed. The boxes were then whitewashed and we used D Lawless hardware pulls to create that card catalog feel
I love how the hardware pulled the whole look together. The cubby unit is fresh and industrial with a ton of storage for all our supplies. Read more about the process and see the entire room on the blog.
