Does anyone have an idea for a DIY bathroom ceiling exhaust fan cover? None of the plastic ones available fit correctly, so can I cover the space up completely with something else? thank you.

Hi Cmcinnis2, I would not cover the fan completely with anything. Your fan needs the air flow to work correctly. And I'm afraid anything you try to make would also prohibit air flow. Have you tried to contact the company that made it? They might be able to send you a replacement part. Other than that, you may need to purchase a new fan all together. Best of luck to you.

You might find a heat/air vent cover close to the right size. Then just adjust the size of the hole in the ceiling without touching the fan, as long as it works well. Best wishes ☺️

If it’s attached to a light a small medalion from a craft or home improvement store would be inexpensive and really jazz up the ceiling. You’ll need to give it airspace, though.
