How can I build a closet in a small one bedroom apartment?

We live in a small one bedroom apartment and I work from home running a small electronics repair shop plus have a second job also and my husband has plenty of ongoing projects inside and out. we also have two dogs, a chihuahua who doesn't take up much space but my American bulldog/lab mix is 160 lbs big baby boy and so we don't have a lot of extra room. I have a lot of clothes and we are already doing reorganization of things in the house including the bedroom where we are most likely gonna build a Murphy bed and drop down desk for me but still need some ideas for a closet.

If you can fit in an armoire you could add a rod inside for hanging clothes and most come with drawers so It could be a dresser as well. Good luck!
Hi ! Years ago I lived in a very old house with no closets. What I did was get metal storage shelves and use those . For underwater and socks I used bins on the shelves. Then I bought nice fabric ( actually I used a flat sheet ) and used strong magnet s to hold in place on the top so it looked neat but I had easy access t my clothes . Also easy to take off to wash or change !
Ashley...You can buy rolling hanging racks that are covered with plastic or fabric. Google and look at some of them. Hope you see what you might like.
Be cautious of adding any built in closet in a rental, as most lease agreements are very restrictive about alterations/ painting, etc.
