This is my “patience” chair…my “frustrations” chair….my “I’m thinking life through” chair

Much like this wood in my car, we come into this world so different than we leave it. Once a tree, then cut and planed into pieces, travels miles to find its place in life, and created into something useful. Born into this world, our parents shape and mold us into responsible people. People created to show compassion, empathy, love, and kindness. We become beautiful and useful and serve a purpose.

And then life takes a turn you don’t understand…a turn you don’t want to accept. But you know you have to make peace with it. When this happened to me, I went and built some chairs.
I talked to the wood, I cried all over it, I threw it around a bit until, finally, I realized it had to be cut and broken to be made whole.People are like that too. We have to be broken to be made whole. We have to break to find peace, we have to cry to heal, and we have to fall on our knees to find understanding. So this isn’t really just a chair…these are my cancer chairs…my chairs that hold many thoughts, many prayers, and many tears that my mom will be made whole.
