Janet: a fine grit pumice stone works well for this. (...maybe with bit of Lime-Away) Try to only scrape the calcium... and then keep that toilet clean, clean, clean!
Try a pumice stone, CLR, Lime Away
Use CLR cleaner
I squirt some Dawn dish liquid in the toilet. The pour in some vinegar. Use a toilet brush to foam it up. Let it sit for about two hours. Then scrub a little with the toilet brush. The suds suspend the vinegar above the water line to get at the ring.
get the water out of bowl then use baking soda,a little Dawn to bind into paste put on toilet bowl add white vinegar and lemon juice scrub well with green scrubber sponge then flush if it's really bad let whole mixture sit in toilet bowl over night or while at work then scrub and rinse. If you add white vinegar to the tank regularly it won't build back up. you can also add to your wash machine and dishwasher even in rinse cups for softer clothes and sparkly dishes. White vinegar is a water softener.
Hi Janet. I have a pumice stone on a stick that I use in my toilets. They work great!
