Does it have to be a fresh lemon or will store bought lemon juice do? Fresh lemons can get quite pricy up here…especially in the winter.

My sons went into restaurant work when they were in high school. Most don't work as a chef anymore, but when I was working at a summer camp as a retreat chef, my third son came to help me (I was still learning how to do things and had no experience except as a helper to the chef.) Anyway, when the retreat was over, he used lemons to clean the grill. YEP, cut a lemon in half and used that as a scrubber. It cut the grease beautifully! I'd never seen anyone do that, they always used chemicals, but he used a clean scrubber pad and lemon halves and then rinsed it with water. It was awesome. Nothing else, not baking soda, not other chemicals. Just lemon halves. When he was head chef at a restaurant with a golf course, he did it there too. Hopefully, this helps someone. Blessings!
