Warning! What ever you use will wear off in places of high traffic, and if you re coat it will build up in areas. My aunt did this to her flooring and the build up always looked dirty! Better to get a floor with a high shine!
Hi Cindy, you can seal the tiles with a high gloss tile sealer, which is available at most large hardware stores. Most of the sealers are applied with a mop or lint-free cloth.
Check with the manufacturer of the tile for the best option. Remember, you don't want to make them slippery!
You might try buffing to bring out more shine. Your ceramic floor might not have the type of finish on it to have a wet glossy appearance. Check with the store where you bought it or consult the manufacturer.
Do note that doing so will make them incredibly slippery and dangerous. You can try seeking out a sealer for this but know too it’ll likely wear fast given the nature of tiles.
You can purchase clear high-gloss sealers as Michelle mentioned but over the long term the warning given about wearing off is a good one.
The finish is going to dictate whether they will shine and how much. I mop all my tile with 1 cup baking soda + 1 cup white vinegar + 1 tsp blue Dawn in 2 gallons of scalding water. That gets them super clean and takes them to their original sheen. I would stay away from adding anything to make them shine because eventually you will have build up as well as make the floors too slick.
On another note, would you mind sharing what your tiles are (color and make)? I love them and would be so excited to put them in my home. Especially my entry way. Also, are they "slick" or slippery?
Thanks!

Whatever you choose, just make sure the shine doesn't make the floors slick or slippery.
