How can I remove a gel stain from wooden cabinet doors?

Over the Christmas holidays I placed those gel window clings to my wooden kitchen cabinet doors. When I removed them a month later there were red stains left behind. I tried washing w/ soap (no luck). I can't scrub because it would ruin the wood. Any ideas?

If it's stained you'll probably have to scrub/ sand and then re sand or stain the cabinets. Try Krud Kutter first. you can get it at home depot/ lowes in the cleaning aisle
You can also try Goof Off, mineral spirits, or nail polish remover. Try the nail polish in a small spot. it may affect the finish.
Have you tried Murphy's Oil Soap? Old English products are another product to try. Scott's Liquid Gold might work too. I have only used on mirrors or windows where they are easier to remove.
It sounds as if the gel has penetrated the top layer of wood, give this a try in a small area:

You can try a magic eraser, but I think you may have to sand the wood to remove the stain. Sounds like it has absorbed into the wood.

Perhaps goo gone will work or vegetable oil. Those things are terrible, especially if they get warm. I used vegetable oil to get some where they "melted" onto my windows. I hope you are lucky and they didn't get into your wood grain. If they did, refinishing may be the only way to get it all out.
I am afraid that you will need to sand that area a bit and add a touch up
