Right..no soap and water. Just rinse and out on hot eye to dry..
To treat a new one..rub oil inside and outside. Pit in 200° oven for about 2 hours.

Hi!
Put your pan on a medium high heat till it's hot, then put your pan in the sink and 'scrub' with a dish cloth while running hot water on the pan....put the pan back on the burner, when it dries, use a paper towel to put some oil (olive or veg is fine) and rub it in, remove from stove....voila!! This will season a new pan and is how I clean my pans after use. Don't use any type of scrubby things on it. If you have something that is stuck on from cooking, the heat and hot water will get rid of it. If you have trouble removing say, fried chicken or whatever, put water in pan and heat it up, then rinse with more hot water and you should be good to go!
Good luck and happy cooking!!
