Can you put white vinegar on a cloth, wrap it around where the deposit is and let set for a few hours....should be able to wash it off then. I shouldn't think vinegar would hurt bronze faucets.

Thanks, Pat, but I tried a paste of vinegar, salt, and flour (to thicken) and let sit for 1+ hour. It removed some of it, but still would like to remove more. I'll try your idea. Thanks!
I dip my hand held faucet in white vinegar for about 10 minutes . you could soak a cloth and wrap it check in about 20 minutes you may need to do it again . Afterward if there is still some use a soft tooth brush baking soda and vinegar, make a paste.
use either cilit bang with limescale remover in it or just kettle lime scale treatment
