Hi, Usually mold is caused by lack of ventilation, or some sort of water source. Figure out if you have a leak coming in from somewhere, or if it just needs to have better ventilation. Cleaning with ammonia based cleaners will destroy the silver on the back of the mirror giving the appearance of mold. Nothing you can do to fix the damage that is it, but capping the edges with wood frames will cover it up.Helpful Reply -
