razor blade
I clean for a living and have encountered a good many floors where the home owner used refinishing products that built up and created a haze or peeling effect from the poly in them. I've had a good deal of success with ammonia. It's strong but works. If the floor underneath the poly is sealed it should be just not fine to strip the top layer off with.
Thanks, I'll try ammoni. the poly was used on trim boards, dripped and went unnoticed till it was dry and dirt settled on it before it dried.
Thanks, tried it. Can't get a razor blade started, drips too flat.
