Hi Diane! Is it tarnishing or rusting at all? If not you should be able to scrub it clean with a paste made of white vinegar and baking soda - that's always worked for me when it comes to shower scum.
If it is rusting crumble up a clean piece of foil and rub it on the rusted areas.
I use Young Living's Thieves cleaner to clean anything metal
I wipe my metal shower holders with a microfiber cloth. If there is build up of shower scum, spray with vinegar and let sit for a minute or so then wipe off.
Take a Brillo and clean it with that or you could get Crome cleaner brasso works great on Crome takes rust off to try Home Depot I bought mine on ebay
Hi! As the others mentioned, it depends on the problem. If it's not rusty, a good cleaning should take care of it. Is it built into the tub? If it is rusty, you might need to clean off all the rust before resealing it. You can use tape and plastic to prevent getting the sealer on the tub. If it's removable, sand any rust off, and use one of Rustoleum's metallic paints to refinish it and a clear sealer to protect the new finish. Good luck!
Mine is metal with metal shelves. When it gets grimy I remove it, place it in the tub, cover it with hot water, let it soak for a while then scrub it with a brush.
You can clean it with dawn and vinegar, then use wax paper on the poles to repel water. You will have to do this about every 3 or 4 months.
I use CLR cleaner for out metal shelf.
CLR works great
Use a Brillo and if you need more comet works great with a scrubby to
You could spray a 50/50 mix of vinegar and dish soap, let it sit a bit then scrub.
