WHEN I WAS MEASURING MY LINOLEUM, I WROTE ON IT WITH PERMANENT BLACK MARKER! IT WAS AN EXTREMELY DUMB THING TO DO. BUT, I FOUND OUT A WAY TO REMOVE IT FROM GO TO PINTEREST.COM. AMAZINGLY I USED HAND SANITIZER AND IT REMOVED IT!!!!!!

WD40 works! Spray some on the marker, let it sit for a while wipe off. I don't know about rubbing alcohol, but hand sanitizer should work. Has more alcohol in it.

I FOUND THAT ( BAR KEEPERS FRIEND) works GREAT ! Mix with a little water. It makes a paste. Put on marker spots. and rub.

I've used hair spray on ink mark on my furniture and wiped up that mark with a white towel. I know that alcohol will clean up a SHARPY marker marks.
