From the photo it looks like bird droppings. If you have any wild berries around they are probably eating them.Helpful Reply -

I agree. There's amazing birds out there that can poop on vertical surfaces you'd never in a million years think they can hit.Helpful Reply -

You got it! It's from a VERY FAST GROWING berry tree! They grow all over the place and get into everything! It's a common Mulberry tree and unfortunately difficult to get rid of. We have some which have invaded our lilacs thanks to the birds. The usual stump killer can't be used as it will destroy the entire lilac. After calling my specialty nursery on this matter recently, there is a new product out which is used by cutting off the MAJOR length of the Mulberry tree leaving only about a 12" stump. One then drills a center hole and then pours a special Mulberry killing product into this hole. From what I was told, it takes about 3-4 weeks and then the entire root system is destroyed. It is best to do this towards the middle to end of summer when the growth period begins to slow down in our area....I am now counting the weeks! We have the disgusting stains all over the place. Even the SHEEP are sporting them!Helpful Reply -

Yes, those are bird poops, we get the same thing on the sides of our house, garage, cars, any vertical surface seems to be fair game for the birds. It should wash off fairly easily if you spray it wet first.Helpful Reply -

Agreed. Your feathered friends(?) are doing the decorating. We get that when the birds dine on poke berries. They really, really stain. The pattern is something that vandals would have to be very creative to duplicate.Helpful Reply -

After you clean it, try RainX all over the garage door. It might make it easier to clean the next time. And after you clean what you can from the driveway, cover the stains with kitty litter. Leave it several hours or a whole day and sweep it up. It should have absorbed more of the stain. If there is more stain left, I would cover the stain with baby powder or Epson salts to absorb more. Best wishes 😇Helpful Reply -

Are the droppings colored or mostly black & white? If colored I'd think bird droppings because of them eating some berries, birds also make the black / white droppings and yes they can do a flyby and air movement can have it do a splatter pattern. I can't think of anything other than dirt castoff being caused by a neighbor cleaning out a sponge when they wash their cars or windows.Helpful Reply -
