Hello Jennifer,
It can take as long as a week, depending on where the mould is and what it says on the product you have used. Yes the mould will come back unless you have enough air circulation or low humidity. Fix a strong Air Vent and open windows. Best wishes
Hi Jennifer - There are several ways to get rid of mold, but most importantly, you need to address the root cause to keep it from returning. This article focuses on the bathroom, but is an overall great article that covers methods of how to remove mold, if bleach is safe to use, and how to prevent it from coming back. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly

It depends on the extent of the mold problem and yes, it can come back if the root cause is not treated properly. Here's a link on mold cleanup:

Mild can definitely come back -especially if the source of the moisture hasn’t been solved.
It all depends on the conditions and the remediation. If the conditions that promoted the mold aren't removed/changed, it will come back easily.
For DIY removal, a few things would be to get a dehumidifier. Clean everything with white cleaning vinegar. Circulate air as much as possible. We have a house that was closed up and had it on all the walls and cabinets. These were the only steps we took and it didn't come back. Removal was almost immediate.
Hi Christine, depending on what type, where the mold is and how it came to be, it could take anywhere from 1-5 days for a company to remove mold. If a professional company is doing it, they should be able to get to the route of the problem and either fix it or have a contractor fix it. Once it is fixed properly so that it can't happen again you should be all good to go and it won't come back.
What have you done to get rid of it? If it was growing in an area that had high humidity levels - it will only be a matter of time until it comes back unless you dried out the area permanently.

Hi Jennifer: Christie just asked the same question. Therefore, I'll give you the same answer as I did for her:
Well, a lot depends on the mold, where it is and the humidity in the room. The more humid, the longer it takes, like if it's in a bathroom or a wall that doesn't have much air movement. There is a difference between mold and mildew. Here is a site that talks about it and also it tells how to get rid of it.
