It's easy to create these fun peppermint candy themed dessert plates for the holiday season with etchall® and DecoArt® products. DIY tutorial included.
Materials:

Clear glass plate

etchall(R) etching cream (www.etchall.com)

etchall(R) Etchmask(R)

DecoArt(R) Americana(R) Crystal Gloss Enamels(R) - Red (www.decoart.com)

Marker, ruler, scissors

Instructions:

1. Trace plate onto Etchmask(R).
2. Use ruler to find center of circle, mark.
3. Draw triangle swirl from center point to outside of circle.
4. Cut out swirl triangle. Trace onto circle 4 more times, cut out. Apply pieces to back of clear glass plate.
5. Apply etchall(R) cream to back of plate in open areas. Let set 15 minutes. Return cream to bottle (etchall(R) creme is re-usable!), rinse plate to clean and remove Etchmask(R). Let dry.
6. Apply DecoArt(R) Crystal Gloss Enamels to non-etched areas on back of plate. Let dry, apply second coat. Let dry.
7. Follow manufacturer instructions to heat set paint on glass.
A set of these would also make a great hostess gift for anyone attending a holiday party!
