Keeping an Eye on You Get Well or Halloween Bouquet

When my cousin was in rehab over halloween after getting a new knee, I wanted a fun Boo-quet to give him a laugh. I bought some colorful silk stems at the dollar store and a bag of those eyeball chocolates.
Using my glue gun, I simply put hot glue on the center of each flower and attached an eyeball by pressing it firmly onto the glue. The heat from the glue will soften the bottom of the chocolate just enough to flatten it slightly ensuring a good bond. Then I built a pleasing arrangement of flowers and added Hershey miniatures stuck to a skewer to round out the look. I dropped extra eyeballs into the vase to hide the flower stems and gave the extra treats in a baggie for snacking. My cousin loved my Boo-quet and has fun showing all the nurses.
The eyeball chocolates at the grocery store are bigger than the ones at the dollar store and a better fit sizewise.
