Red, white and blue ideas for
Spruce up your Memorial Day entertaining with these patriotic projects.
Simple glass candle holders are transformed with layers of red, white and blue sand and silver letter stickers. Nestle votive candles inside.
A plain red tray becomes something special with Duck Tape! Use white and blue Duck Tape sheets to make the background of the flag. Star stickers or star shapes cut out with a paper punch or Cricut machine are a nice touch.
Paint wooden stars red, white and blue and use hot glue to add them to a ice bucket.
Paint cardboard letters red, white and blue. Give the letters a coat of Mod Podge and sprinkle glitter oh them. Use hot glue to fasten letters to a plain wooden sign.
Make it easy for your guests to help themselves to barbecue essentials with a Utensil Basket. First, line the basket with felt, then embellish with tulle in patriotic colors. Fill with napkins and plastic utensils.
Honor family members who have served in the military with a Patriotic Photo Display. Scan and print photos. Use washi tape to cover plain clothes pins and add photos a display. We used wooden fence post post decor. Add a small flag garland to complete the piece.
Whip up a quick Table Runner with some fabric and batting inside. We used "Pellon Magic in the Middle."
Grab 12 x 12 scrapbook paper in stars and stripes and make an easy paper chain. Trim paper strips to 1 1/2 inches and loop together, using double-sided tape to fasten.
