This salt glitter Easter egg is a fun to make art project that makes a great Easter decoration for the home.

Start by gathering all of your supplies and materials. For this Easter egg canvas project you will need: epsom salt, white school glue, food coloring, a canvas, and a pencil. You will also need a bowl, spoon, and foil lined baking sheet for preparing the salt glitter.

Add Epsom salt to a bowl and mix with 2 drops of food coloring.

Then, pour salt out onto a foil lined baking sheet to dry completely.

Repeat with each color that you would like to make.

Outline the shape of an egg on the canvas in pencil.

Cover the area where you would like your first color salt glitter to go with glue.

Carefully pour the salt glitter on top of the glue, gently pressing it down with your fingers. Tap the canvas to gently knock off any excess salt. Allow the glue to dry completely before moving to the next section.

Repeat the process with each color of glitter salt until all of the Easter egg is colored in, and the glue has dried.

Now you are ready to display your Easter egg art canvas and enjoy.
