Skeleton Hand Hook Project
1. Prepare Your Skeleton Arm
Using a heat gun, carefully heat up the digits of the skeleton arm.
Try forming them into a claw so they are able to hold a lightweight wreath.
Heat the elbow joint and remove the top part of the arm.
2. Cut and Prepare the Wood Piece
Take the paint stirrer stick and use the Exacto knife along with the cutting mat to cut a piece that's approximately 2 inches long.
3. Coat in Black Paint
Apply a generous coat of black craft paint or spray paint to both the wood piece and the skeleton arm. This will give them a uniform, spooky appearance.
4. Secure Them Together
Using your trusty hot glue gun, attach the coated wood piece and the skeleton arm together at an angle. Make sure they are securely fastened to create a stable hook.
5. Hang Your Sinister Creation
Hang your spooky skeleton hand hook on your wall. You can use it as a hook to hold a wreath or any other Halloween decor of your choice.
Haunting Wall Decor
1. Gather Skeleton Arms
For our second project, you'll need to gather two more skeleton arms, one right, and one left, if possible.
2. Melt and Detach the Hands
Using a wood-burning tool, carefully apply heat to the plastic wrist of the skeleton arms.
This process will allow you to melt the plastic and easily snap the hands at the wrists. Exercise caution and ensure safety while using the tool.
3. Paint the Wood Pallets Black
Prepare two small wood pallets for your project by painting them in a foreboding shade of black.
4. Attach the Detached Hands
Using a reliable adhesive, such as a hot glue gun, secure the detached skeleton hands at the wrists onto the painted wood pallets. Ensure they are firmly attached and aligned to your liking.
5. Attach to Wall
Once the hands are securely in place, your eerie pieces are ready for display. Attach these creepy creations to your wall. They'll serve as perfect holders for light decorative items and contribute to the spine-chilling atmosphere of your Halloween decor.
Halloween Garden Bed Border
1. Give the Skeleton Arms a Sinister Makeover
In our third project, we are going to make a unique Halloween garden bed border.
Start by preparing more skeleton arms by coating them thoroughly with black spray paint.
2. Prepare the Garden Bed
Now, it's time to prepare your garden bed for this bewitching transformation. Using a gardening trowel, dig deep holes in the chosen location within your garden bed.
This will be where you'll place the skeleton arms. Once the skeleton arms are positioned in the holes, secure them in place by filling the holes with dirt. To ensure stability, place a substantial stone on top of each arm. This will prevent them from shifting or falling over.
3. Hang Glow-in-the-Dark Chains
To complete your Halloween garden bed border, add a spooky touch by hanging the ends of the glow-in-the-dark chains on the digits of the skeleton hands.
Arrange the chains along a pathway in your garden, creating an enchanting and welcoming display for trick-or-treaters.
This Halloween garden bed border will add a touch of magic to your home's Halloween decor. Your creative use of skeleton arms and glow-in-the-dark chains will delight and enchant visitors during the spooky season.
