My kids love making DIY Valentines Day cards for their classmates.

One of my favorite ones we have created involved a lot of paper hearts and, of course, candy.

These simple Valentine's Card Flowers are a fun craft to make in February.

Cutting paper hearts out

To make these card flowers:

Step 1. Cut out paper hearts

Each card will need 6-8 paper hearts.

Paper punching bottom of paper heart

Step 2. Paper punch a hole on the bottom of each heart.

Step 3: Add hearts to sucker

For a more full heart, punch two holes into the bottom of each heart and slide the sucker stick through the two holes.

Step 4: Glue

Glue some of the heart petals together to keep them from rotating around the sucker stick.

Step 5: Tie a ribbon on the stem

Tie a ribbon on the stem to keep the petals from sliding down the sucker.

Write names on the petals or glue a name label on the sucker stick.
