Easy and Simple Spring Tablescape
I love a pretty tablescape! Tablescapes don't have to be overly done to look nice. I personally like a more simple look. I rarely buy new pieces each season to decorate my table. Instead, I just change the colors with faux floral and cloth napkins.
I'm going to show you how I created a simple spring tablescape!
A runner always helps dress up a table. Here I have added a simple lace runner. This is one of my favorites because it really goes with every season.
I decided to add an extra little flare to my table runner. This diy felt magnolia leaf runner is a favorite of mine. You can find this diy here on my Hometalk pg.
These wicker placemats/chargers are my favorite go to for tablescapes; especially during the spring and summer months.
Cloth napkins are another fave of mine. They can add just the right amount of color to your table. Here I'm using a blush pink cloth napkin.
I like to add a plate on top of the wicker place mat/charger. I personally place the napkin down before adding the plate; but you can always place the napkin onto the plate as well.
I do not use these plates for serving; just display.
I added these sprigs of faux eucalyptus to each place for a simple touch of spring nature.
I found this wood vase at the thrift store; and decided it would be perfect as a centerpiece.
I added this bunch of faux floral to the vase, and placed in the middle of the table runner.
I really like how simple this tablescape looks. The colors are muted and calming. Of course, you can always choose brighter colors too!
