Hey y’all! Happy first day of fall!

Even though I was chilling in the pool Monday, I think fall weather is slowly making its way to Arkansas!

I love to change out the wreaths on my front doors each season, so I figured it was time to get busy!

Find Fall decor & more here!

For these wreaths I went to hobby lobby and picked up a few of my favorite florals and some velvet pumpkins to add to grapevine wreaths.

I love these velvet pumpkins! They add so much texture to the wreaths and really make them 👌🏽!

Items needed:

  • Fall florals
  • Scissors or wire cutters
  • Floral wire
  • Velvet pumpkins
  • Glue gun & glue
  • Grapevine wreath

Start by laying out your wreath and place the florals where you think you want them. This will give you an idea of what your wreath will look like.

I prefer to add the florals to the bottom or the side instead of filling up the entire wreath.

Not the best pic 😂 but this was my general lay out.

After you have an idea of your lay out, cut the stems if necessary. The florals I purchased had long stems so I had to remove those using scissors.

Then lay everything out again and using the floral wire affix the flowers to the wreath. You can do one side at a time or do all of it at once. I like to start in the middle and tie the wire off to itself. I then go to one side, then the other, and then the middle. It’s so easy to use… you literally just wrap it around the wreath and tuck it under the flowers. Be sure to keep your wire tight and use it mostly on your stems.

Now to add your pumpkins. The green pumpkins came on a stem, so I used the floral wire and wrapped it around the stems. I then added the white pumpkins using hot glue.

There ya go! Super easy and oh so pretty!!

As always I’ve included a short video below for those visual learners like me 😘!

Happy fall!!🍁

How did you keep the outside fringe straight on top, and not fall to the side?
