Can I wrap Christmas lights around a pool noodle wreath?

Will Christmas lights wrapped around they pool noodle burn?

They shouldnt, but to be sure use LED lights then you should have no worries. I still have strings of lights from the 50's and 60's (they work better than the new lights) and I know I would not use those, but all the newer lights you should be just fine.
LED Christmas lights don't get hot to touch so are great for using in decorations but as Naomie said I'd avoid any of the older style lights :)
New LED Christmas lights are safe to wrap around your pool noodles. They do not get hot, so will not burn or melt the noodles.
Lynn....LEDs probably don't get as hot as the old Christmas lights and believe they will work well.
