A mirror or a beautiful painting/picture.
Perfect place to display artwork.
Hi Gittel,
A Large Mirror if your room could do with looking bigger, a Photo if you proud of it , a Painting if you want to add colour to the room, a Wall Sculpture if you want to be edgy etc. Best wishes.
A mirror is always lovely.
I am partial to large clocks a wreath, something simple and not crowded. If you like the farmhouse look, an old window converted to picture frames or add a small wreath. Also, the cathedral arch frames are nice.
Do you mean artwork or something more permanent? Large artwork or mirror is great for filling up the space and keeping it simple.
Do you have a mantel above your fireplace or is it just straight up? If you have a mantel, keep in mind what will be on that when deciding what to hang above it. Depending on the height (candle sticks, vases etc...) will determine where to hang something on the wall (a mirror, window, wreath, bunting etc...)
A large picture. There are tons of inexpensive pieces on Amazon.
Hello I always prefer a piece of statement art, there’s some prefer televisions.
You can find some amazing art pieces at consignment shop thrift stores garage sales estate sales, or even buy a goodwill frame and put something different inside the frame for very little cost.
Depends on what your style or decor is. How big of an area are you referring to? Do you want this to be something functional or just pretty? Are you concerned about the heat generated by the fire place or is that not a problem? What type of material is above the fireplace (brick, stone, dry wall)?
