Hi Hometalk! We all know that decorative mirrors are not cheap. But who doesn't love mirrors right? What I like about them is that they are very versatile and stunning especially when paired or used as an accessory/decor to any style.

So today, I am going to share with you guys a very easy makeover where I restyled an old mirror and turned it into a gorgeous mirror inspired by Anthropologie Gleaming Primrose Mirrors.

I will also share the video tutorial at the end of this post so you can experience the whole makeover at your convenience.

Here is the mirror I started with. It is still in a good condition but the frame is really outdated.

I started by removing the back of the mirror and then I removed the frame. They were held up by screws so unscrewing them is the easiest way to detach them.

Once removed, I cleaned the mirror with Windex and a shop towel.

For the frame, I used WoodUbend Mouldings. They are very versatile, you can cut them to make your own design and they are heat bendable. They are also easy to adhere to any kind of surface.

To create a design for the frame, I choose the molding first and then did a little "fitting" to the mirror. After I was satisfied with the design, I painted the moldings black.

To have a secure adhesion of the moldings, I used construction glue.

Lastly, to attach a glimmer and to highlight the details, I rubbed gold gilding wax to the frame. Giving a touch of gold really made a huge difference!

And here is the finished look! It was so easy and the results are so stunning! If I can do it, I am sure you also can!

Love the black and gold adornments!

Truly looks elegant and sophisticated! You can achieve the beauty of an expensive mirror at a fraction of the cost!

And here's another look at the before and after. I am so in love with this mirror! What do you think of the Anthropologie-Inspired Mirror Makeover? I hope it gave you ideas and inspiration for your next project!
