I absolutely love fall, summer is okay, spring is nice, but fall through Christmas is definitely my favorite season! Everybody is having cookouts, the weather is just starting to get chilly, and you start looking forward to the holidays! To get to the point, I love decorating the house for fall and christmas. Thus, this tutorial for decorated pumpkins!
I saw these in the country living magazine and loved the idea.I especially love the contrast of the white pumpkin paired with the ferns.
You will need:

Mod Podge

a paintbrush

pumpkins

ferns or leaves of your choice
Before you start with the mod podge figure out in what pattern you are going to place the ferns, feel free to get creative!
Paint the surface of the leaves and on the pumpkin where you are about to put it. I had some trouble getting the ends of the ferns to lay down but then I ended up just letting it sit for 20-30 minutes and pressing down the edges and it worked great.
It could take up to a couple hours for them to dry fully. I you come back in an hour and they are still all white, don’t worry they just take a while to dry. Especially if you put on a really thick coat.

Then once the the leaves are pretty dry put an even coat of mod podge over the entire pumpkin.
