How do you make outdoor chair cushions and covers for patio set?

We inherited a nice patio set several years old. It had been down on a dock, the cushions were in poor shape and  garbaged.

If you are going to have them exposed to the weather, you will want a fabric intended for the outdoors. Upholstery foam is also available.

By the time you buy the padding and material and put in all the work of sewing them,I would just go out and buy new pads for your furniture.

It might even cost less.

You can buy them ready made in target and other cheap stores. If you really want to make them yourself because you have the fabric. I have bought pillows for my budget store for next to nothing and used them to stuff my cushions.
