Faux Succulent Planter
While real succulents could be used in this planter, I was looking for something I could leave outside, poolside. This little DIY works beautifully!
I started off with the Ketchup/Mustard set I got from Target for $3.00.
After removing the plastic containers, I took 2 votive holders & filled them with gravel from the backyard.
Sidenote: I started out thinking I could use those itty bitty red clay flower pots, but while they fit in the holes, they collided with each other since the rims angled out.
Then I took some succulents I'd found at Michael's (for 50% off now less!)
I trimmed down 1 of the succulents because the stem was long, but the other I was just able to wiggle right into the rock.
Super easy, and it can sit out in the Arizona sun and heat without watering!

This would make a nice bridal shower/housewarming gift, as the cute presentation requires no further wrapping.
The date of the event could be added to the front piece below the jars.
