Hi! I have a few pics of a photo gallery wall in this post if you scroll down a bit. I like to cut out newspaper in the size of each of the frames, then tape them to the wall to get them arranged how I want. Then I mount the frames. https://jessicawellinginteriors.com/beach-house-bunk-room-2/
Hi Emmy,
Lay them out on the floor or on a table to find out which layout is most pleasing to you. If you have a phone take a picture of them for reference, or better still lay a large piece of paper or old sheet on the floor first, then play around with layout.
When happy, number the back of pictures and mark the number and where the hanging points are and transfer them to the paper. Remove all photos fram es and use the template on the wall as your guide making sure you temp. fix the template level and straight first. Job should soon be done! Either use command strips or picture nails to fix them up. Remove the template........Great job!
Here is another tutorial for a picture gallery. this one looks so nice as well:

Hi Emmy: You can use different size frames and put several pictures in one frame, or several pictures of the person at different years of their lives or different activities. Use different styles of frames, or the same type. You can also arrange them by season. Good luck
A few years back I did a gallery wall with a big canvas and then other frames around it: https://www.curlycraftymom.com/2013/07/gallery-wall-with-gold-tipped-frames.html
