How do I separate two dishes accidentally glued together?

I used a "spaghetti" bowl - relatively flat - to hold the mod podge when I was doing a project. The mod podge was pretty much used up, but before I could clean it out I brilliantly set a cereal-sized bowl onto it. Now I can't get them apart. Any suggestions?

you might try paint thinner along the seal. Midge Podge is basically a glue based product. -

Yup mod podge is basically glue, I would try warming it up and using mineral spirits. -

try either paint or lacquer thinner, lacquer thinner a stronger solvent then paint thinner. Remember lacquer thinner is highly flammable so use precautions. No flames anywhere near it and well ventilate. Even the fumes are flammable, so be careful! -

Start with hot water soak of both pieces submerged to see if gets flexible. See if you can get the blade of a thin knife between the pieces to loosen it. Keep the water hot to keep it flexible and see if loosening one spot and letting water between helps until you can get the knife all the way around to get them apart. If you plan on using chemicals to get the modge pidge off, check in a inconspicuous spot to see if it damages the finish on the dishes. If it does, try something else. Maybe if you go to the website of the product they may have a way to remove it. -

I would try to soak the bowls in hot water. I have often used this method on paper items glued to paper. -

Try googone. Make sure not to use goofoff it will melt the plasti.
